Homestead Consultant + Creator

My journey into homesteading and horticulture didn’t start in a garden — it started with a deep longing to live differently.

Born and raised in New Orleans, I always loved nature but didn’t know how to make it part of my life's work. After earning my degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, I followed a pull to the Ecuadorian Amazon, volunteering at a biological research station. It opened my eyes to the beauty and intelligence of the natural world — and planted a seed that would change my life.

In my twenties, life took an unexpected turn when my mom, my best friend, was diagnosed with a brain tumor and breast cancer. In the midst of grief and searching for answers, I realized how disconnected I had been from true health, food, and the land. I threw myself into learning everything I could about healing, sustainability, and growing real food.

I earned my Certification in Horticultural Studies and became a Licensed Landscape Horticulturist, launching INSTAR — where I built New Orleans’ first organic, artistic, edible landscapes. What started with selling plants door-to-door blossomed into designing rooftop gardens and lush, food-producing sanctuaries.

Today, my mission has evolved into something even deeper: guiding others through the journey I once walked myself. As a Homestead Consultant and Content Creator, I help first-generation homesteaders around the world turn their dreams into reality — growing their own food, raising animals naturally, and reclaiming a healthier, more connected way of life.

I’m here to show you that you can do this. And I’ll be right beside you, every step of the way.
